So the little stinkpot has started terrorizing our other dog when he eats! We have to put Brady in the bathroom or Zoom will eat his food. Zoom stalks the bathroom and then growls and bites him when he comes out trying to get to his food. We’ve tried separating them, feeding them at different times – he’s just so bad! It’s like he totally knows when Brady eats! And now he’s even started growling at him when he comes inside – I don’t know if he’s jealous – it’s one of those I sure wish he could talk moments.
Hmmmm….so seems like this growling and misbehaving started after Zoom became a tripawd? Is it possible hope’s acting out because maybe he has some pain?
Zoom has to ,learn that YOU are the pack leader and YOU own the food bowl😉 It’s hard to correct a tripawd though because they are so darn cute!

Woah! I’ll leave the feedback for the Tripawds families with multiple dogs. I agree with Sally that if this is new behavior, it could be that Zoom is protecting himself because he’s feeling pain. I would mention it to your vet asap so they can guide you in how to resolve it. Keep us posted oK?
